Can I get my pledge refunded?

If the campaign is still live, you can cancel your pledge before it ends. However once the campaign is over and collection has started, it is no longer possible to cancel your pledge.

If you’re interested in having your collected pledge refunded, you’ll need to wait 14 days after the campaign ends for the funds to reach us and then you can reach out to us directly through [email protected].

If you want to cancel your Pledge during Pledge Manager, you can request a partial refund, where 20% will be deducted to cover administration and processing fees. To do so, contact our support at [email protected].

If you don’t complete your survey on the Pledge Manager and 8 months have passed since the end of the campaign, the pledge you made will be considered a donation and no refunds will be possible.

When Production Starts: Once Pledge Management ends and we initiate the manufacturing of the game, refunds or edits will not be possible. If your reward is successfully delivered and you fail to accept it, we can reship it at your cost, but will not offer refunds.

Damaged or missing goods: If you notice damage or components missing upon reception of the product, reach out to Sharon at [email protected] - she will gladly assist you.

Are customs duties included in the price of the order?

Shipping is custom tax friendly in the EU, UK, CANADA, USA, ASIA, AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND. However you will be charged for VAT in the pledge manager according to your country of residence.

If you are outside these regions you can still make an order but the package will most likely get taxed once it reaches your country. Extra fees may be required by your local postal service for delivery and clearance.

Any import taxes charged by the destination country are your responsibility. Customs policies vary widely from country to country so if you have any concerns before you order, we recommend that you contact your local customs office.

If your order is not claimed from your country’s customs it will be returned to the warehouse. You can then have it re-shipped but shipping will have to be paid in FULL again.

If you are located in very distant locations like Central and South America, South Africa and Rest of World, please be aware that if the package is lost in transit or if you fail to pay it’s customs taxes and the order get’s sent back, shipping will have to be paid in FULL again for us to be able to resend it. If you do not wish to do this we are afraid that refunds are not an option.

Can I change my pledge?

Yes, you can change your pledge here on KS before the campaign ends or you can change it in the pledge manager after the campaign. In the pledge manager you can only upgrade your pledge. You can also add extra add ons over there.

I want to add extra items to my pledge, how can I do that?

After the Kickstarter Campaign ends the Pledge Manager will open and here you can add the various add-ons. Or get extra copies of the pledge you selected.

Oops! I gave you the wrong shipping address.

Contact us at [email protected] with your order number and the correct address, and we’ll do our best to get it fixed on the pledge manager so your order is delivered to the correct location.

Once your order is shipped to an incorrect address we can no longer change its course, it will be returned to the warehouse and can then be re-shipped but shipping must be paid in full again.

When do we get the STL files?

STL files will be send once we begin manufacturing of the rest of the products. This way you miners will have something fun to do while you wait on the rest of your pledges.

Where do you ship to?

We ship worldwide, but unfortunately there are some countries that we can’t ship to at the moment: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and North Korea.

Also if you are in certain locations in Asia, South Africa and the Middle East, your order will be fulfilled via VFI hubs. This means that in these regions you will receive the order 1-2 months after fulfillment begins.

Will tariff changes affect the price for me?

Your final cost is your pledge plus shipping and tariff if you are located in the US. This will be calculated in the pledge manager. We will, to avoid catastrophic financial risk as publisher, use the most recent tariff during checkout and hold the right to add any new tariff’s imposed later before delivery.

Why are there no stretch goals?

We received a lot of feedback regarding this during the last campaign. We’ve chosen to remove them and instead show you everything you’ll get. But we might throw in some small gifts throughout the campaign.

Why was I charged more for the Acrylic Tokens on my Rival Incursion pledge?

We had a minor issue with the Acrylic Tokens on the Rival Incursion Expansion being charged incorrectly. This is corrected now, and we’ve implemented a solution for everyone who got the wrong prices. The overpricing can be used as the shipping fee later on.

I'm a previous backer. Do I need the upgrade kit?

The upgrade kit is only for those who have the First Edition base game and haven’t already gotten the upgrade kit. All expansions work with the 2nd Edition base game.

Does Pledge 4 not include the new art print?

The Pledge 4 does include the New Art Print add-on, although it doesn’t say it in the item list. The shown art prints on the pledge graphic will be added to your order.

Yes. After feedback from all of you, we’ve decided that everyone pledging the campaign will receive all of the Kickstarter exclusives. This includes golden Steeve, Glittery Cave tiles, BET-C encounter, dice bag, Error Cube, and the barrel flick mini game.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
